Paying the Expert

I recently had the exterior of my house painted and used a REAL color consultant to select the colors for me. As a design-minded person, I thought this was something I could handle on my own but I needed to outsource the emotional aspects of such a permanent decision and I am so, so, so glad I did. Lesson learned: paying experts with a proven track record is a worthwhile investment (even if you think you could do a good job of it yourself).
